Lorenzo Silvestri is an industrial designer based in Milan, trained at Politecnico di Milano and Elisava Barcelona. His work sits at the intersection of digital fabrication, distributed design, and material research — with a consistent interest in the expressive and narrative potential of objects and the creative processes behind them.

He currently works for the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano, where he coordinates and conducts applied research within the experimental laboratories Circular Food System Lab and Polifactory. His research practice combines hands-on prototyping with rigorous inquiry — translating findings into functional design solutions.
